‘Lost’, a very popular American drama, made its debut on ABC Network on September 22, 2004. The story begins at a point which could have been an end for any ordinary TV show. All events are set in a mysterious tropical island somewhere in South Pacific. A plane crashes in mid flight between Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles, United States. All the 48 survivors are forced to fend for themselves in the unfamiliar tropical environment of the island. While residing on the island, they come to know the secrets of the place such as a mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, a strange French woman and another group of people residing on the island known as 'The Others'. ‘Lost’ reveals how they manage to make their way through the mysterious island while their past and future come to intercept their present in the form of flashbacks and flash forward. Among the principal characters of the show are Dr. Jack Shephard, Kate Ryan, Charlie Pace, James “Sawyer” Ford and Hugo "Hurley" Reyes. Series has recently finished airing the fifth season.
