
Cops, an award winning TV show gives a realistic insight into the functioning of the police officers in almost all the major cities of the world. Each episode of the show traces an on-duty cop, as he or she tries to solve a case. With as many as 23 seasons, the reality show clinched the titled of one of the longest running series in the history of American television. Over the years, it not just documented the police forces of American cities, but, also that of London, former Soviet Union and Hong Kong.
The success of the show mainly depends on the valiant camera crew that travels with the cops in almost all the scenes of crime. The real incidents that take place at ground zero are the main feeds of Cops’ episodes. The crew captures everything that takes place in the crime scene, and there is no narration or pre-written dialogues uttered alongside.

The song is composed by a reggae group known as Inner Circle, which actually sets the tone for the events that follow.
