
Dirty Jobs is a reality show that brings out all the pros and cons of different professions of the world. In each episode of the show, host Mike Rowe tries to understand various aspects of some jobs, and then perform some of the tasks to make the audience feel what kind of trouble a jobholder encounters on a daily basis. The incredible reality show has successfully completed five back-to-back seasons.
This show basically focuses on featuring the most hated jobs of the world, from toilet cleaning to maintaining filthy animal husbandry. Rowe and his crew traverses from one destination to another to find out workers handling some petty, yet challenging tasks. Sometimes the host digs deep and tries to learn from the professionals, as in how to complete a task on time.
Being a reality show, none of the seasons includes any scripted situations or dialogues. The camera records all the real time conversation, which is later, used as feeds for the episodes of the show. Mike Rowe also keeps on explaining the nature and hurdles of a job, while performing any task. Some of the episodes also take into account, certain dreaded occupations including feeding wild animals, etc. Each time, Rowe remains ever ready to explain the in and out of such jobs, along with proper demonstration.
After the completion of every episode, the host asks the viewers to give their feedback, as well as recommendation for any messy job. The show soared to popularity not just because of its real-time instances, but also because of some witty moves of the host, Mike Rowe. In every season, he remains the sole guide for the viewers, while the camera crew presents some of the weirdest jobs on earth.
