Packed to the brim with mystery and drama, Happy Town is a thrilling series, which came into existence on April 28, 2010. The series stems from a small town in Haplin, where gloominess and mishaps used to prevail over the lives of its residents, some time back. For years, several kidnappings had taken place, which resulted in instilling fear and dread among the hearts of people.

Those kidnappings had disturbed the peace of a quiet town in Minnesota, but after that, the villagers have lived a calm and serene life for five years. They have become fearless, as no crime has been committed in the town, in these five years. But as it’s said that nothing is here to stay forever- a murder takes place, which sets everyone’s heart racing with terror and fright.

As the episodes of the first season move forward, everybody starts believing that it’s done by an enigmatic personality, who they call ‘magic man’. The town people believe that the man possesses some powers, which help him to make anyone disappear. Then, the incident of the disappearance of seven folks resurfaces, as the innocent residents come to know about some dark secrets.

The twist in this tale of murky crime and hidden secrets comes, when truths get unraveled, exposing some well-known faces. The town in Minnesota finally sees a ray of hope as a deputy sheriff; Tommy Conroy takes charge to unravel the mystery. The first season ends with its eighth episode, in which secrets underlying the seemingly perfect town get exposed, leaving everyone in a shocked state. This season finale also marked the series finale.

Geoff Stults has stepped into the shoes of Deputy Tommy Conroy to solve the mysteries that hover upon the town. Lauren German, Robert Wisdom, Peter Outerbridge and a few others grace the roles of some of the town residents.
