Revolving around a cannabis dealer Moz, Ideal is a hilarious drama, and a brainchild of the veteran creator, Graham Duff. The story that sheds light on Moz’s life is filmed in Salford; there’s a reason to that. Apparently, the show’s creator has performed some side-splitting acts there, when he was a comedian.
The show rolls camera on Moz’s life as he deals with his strange clients and interacts with other dealers of the field. The diverse array of Moz’s clients fulfills the need of plenty of hilarity-packed situations. Apart from the comic element of the show, one thing that’s cherished by majority of viewers is its rocking music tracks. Various hip-hop numbers are inserted in the show, time to time, to make the show tug at the viewers’ heart strings.
Season 1 of the series introduces Moz’s girlfriend, Nikki, who stays with him for four succeeding seasons. She’s shown in a quite annoyed state as she feels that she’s not getting the attention that she truly deserves from her boyfriend. Moz’s life becomes more intricate as some unwanted guests arrive at his house, which include his competitor Paul.
It is then in season 2, that Moz gets relieved as he gets the offer to be the best man at his friend’s wedding. However, complications are still high for Moz at the romantic front, as Nikki takes the final decision to leave him, making him deal with work and home related problems alone.
Season 3 focuses more on Nikki, as she suffers from hallucinations, while Moz tries to keep his drug-dealing secrets under wraps, when some Christian builders visit his house. His situation turns even worse in season 4, when he gets the treatment for a possible heart attack and his chief supplier, PC gets to woo his girlfriend Nikki!
When season 5 kicks off, Moz and Nikki finally split-up, and Moz gets to have a new girlfriend Jenny. Then, under a certain set of circumstances, Moz and Jenny decide to go away from their home, in order to live a peaceful life in season 6. They come back after 9 months, only to see that Moz’s hash-selling business has been taken over by his ex-girlfriend.
All these incidents that are spread over a span of six seasons together make the show the ‘ideal’ treat!
