Leverage opens with a heist and that’s what it continues to do, but motives, intentions and people responsible behind it keep changing. Every episode works through a job, and that is why each episode is named on a job. The characters have a class, and the show revolves around the mastermind called Nathan ‘Nate’ Ford, who, although spends some of his time behind the bars, manages to be the cynosure of every event.
Season one particularly carries out the heist to bring down the man, who deceived the bunch after hiring them for a job. Nate is joined by Sophie, Alec, Eliot and Parker, and they all form a group that apparently sees them last through the entire three seasons. The thieves however, are morally sound and any loot that they undertake, is done out of the banks of corrupt businessmen and affluent criminals.
Timothy Hutton stars as Nate in this crime drama, which is directed by John Rogers and Chris Downey. Other famous stars include Gina Bellman (Sophie), Christian Kane as Eliot, Aldis Hodge as Alec and Beth Reisgraf as Parker. After the group was successfully made in season one, they decided they could be well-off keeping things as it is, and so we see the group continue their acts with the start of season two.
Throughout season two, the team helped those, who were victims at the hands of criminals and rich, powerful people. But as the season two ends, Nate found himself behind the bars. That brought the Italian woman into the picture at the beginning of season three. She is unnamed and comes with a condition to help Nate escape the prison.
It becomes apparent that the team will have to bring down the international criminal Damien Moreau within six months, or Nate goes back to jail.
