Mad Love is a comedy show directed by Pamela Fryman. The show revolves around two couples, one of which has deeply fallen in love, while the other mostly wiles away their time fighting with each other.

Kate and Ben (played by Sarah Chalke and Jason Biggs respectively) hit it off instantly, shortly after their first meeting. While they bonded perfectly, their friends Connie and Larry (played by Judy Greer and Tyler Labine respectively) are still to overcome their cat-fight protocols.

Their fighting has a certain humor, which, apparently, makes the show worth watching. Kate and Ben’s charm and cute chemistry serves well for romantic people. It all started with ‘Fireworks’, when Empire State Building brought together the two future lovers, Kate and Ben.
They decide to plan a date for later that night but errors kept happening, plans kept getting extended, and their friends kept acting as a nuisance, with their constant fights and distaste towards each other. In episode four, Kate’s younger sister pays a visit to the big New York City and Kate takes proper are of her.  

On seeing that Connie and Larry are going nowhere in their relationship, Ben and Kate decide to take matters in their hands, and discuss plans to win their hearts over. While Ben approaches Connie, Kate vows to change Larry’s habit of breaking up with women.

All these little nuances make up for such an entertaining show that is sure to attract viewership. The comedy is just about right and romance just about perfect, both striking a fine balance, helped finely by the lead actors. It is named Mad Love, but it is perfect attitude towards love that we get to see.

Season 1 of the show, portrays the difference in the two relationships, and works as the sweet and sour of the show, providing the viewers a delectable mixture of two flavors in one dish.
