Married with Children, a very popular American sitcom was all about Bundys, a dysfunctional American family residing in Chicagoland suburb. The patriarch of the family, Al Bundy was once on-the-top high school player but eventually settled down as a women-shoe salesman. His wife, Peg Bundy, was a dim-witted tartish housewife, crazy for Oprah Winfrey show and shopping. She could be spotted with a large red bouffant hairdo, 1960s clothes a funny walk caused by foot-wears with high heels. Pretty as well as thick headed Kelly Bundy was the daughter of Al and Peg. The cleverest of all the Bundys was Bud Bundy, the girl-crazy son of the family. Another important and wicked character was Buck, their dog who used to make perverted jokes. Living in their neighborhood were Marcy Rhoades and Steve Rhoades the two bankers who were close friends of the family. Marcy wedded Jefferson D'Arcy after Steve walked out and did not return. ‘Married… with Children’ was liked throughout the world for painting a painfully funny picture of a not-so-typical middle class Bundy family.
