With the making of No Ordinary Family, ABC Studios has breathed life into the remarkable story of an extraordinary family. Powells makes a characteristic American family, which goes on to become an out of the ordinary one, after the charter plane hired by them loses its control and falls in the Amazon River.
Created by Greg Berlanti and Jon Harmon Feldman, No Ordinary Family is a side-splitting sci-fi series, being telecast on ABC. Its first episode struck the television sets on September 28, 2010. The life and soul of the show lies in its well-thought-out characterization and a gripping storyline, centered on a family that is bestowed with special powers.
Talking about its season in specific, almost a decade and half has passed since Jim tied the knot with Stephanie and still he feels a void in this relationship. His discontentment is expanded by the feeling of being distant from his children. To bridge the emotional gap, Bridge decides that the family will accompany Stephanie on a business tip. Thereafter, a misfortune of a plane crash is followed by the fortune of escaping its fatal consequences. Rather than spending time on celebrating their survival, they are forced back to the mundane daily life. So, they come across the fact that things have changed drastically. Slowly and steadily, each member of the family starts to exhibit new and unique super powers. Will these extraordinary abilities encourage a close bonding between them or will they end up drifting apart?
The actor who was first to find a place in its star cast is Michael Chiklis. He is playing the role of Jim Powell, the male head of the family. Then Autumn Reeser was roped in to enact the colleague of Jim’s better-half. In March 2010, the scorching Julie Benz was finalized to instill life into the character of Jim’s wife. The cast of No Ordinary Family is extended by names such as Christina Chang, playing a cop, who is also an associate of Jim. Tate Donovan too, makes an entry as the mystery-shrouded pilot of the plane that loses control and crashes. To complete the Powell family, Kay Panabaker and Jimmy Bennett are playing the ‘bubbling with energy’ children. |
