‘Scrubs’, an American medical drama, was premiered on October 2, 2001 on The NBC Network. Series is all set in the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital where weird situations keep on happening always. This half an hour long drama is created by Bill Lawrence and centers on the unique point of view of Dr. John Dorian a.k.a. JD. The life in the hospital is shot with single camera set up unlike other situational comedies where joining him in the team are- Chris Turk, JD’s college mate and Elliot Reid, a beautiful as well as socially awkward lady. Keeping an eye always on them are: Dr. Bob Kelso, chief of medicine and Dr. Perry Cox, an abrasive as well as caring doctor; Carla Espinosa, the no-nonsense head nurse. Then, there is a custodian of hospital known as Janitor who is not very fond of JD and loses no chance to play mean pranks on him. Scrubs has recently finished airing the eighth successful season. As of now, the ninth season of the show has been announced.
