Do you think parting away with a role that brought an actor 11 of the most prestigious awards and has been a part and parcel of his life for the last five years is that easy?

Let me tell you, it isn’t…
True that in July 2010, 30 Rock’s Jack Donaghy hinted at his leaving the show, but now we don’t think the show is going to miss him at all.
Alec Baldwin, the famous actor under the skin of this character has recently confirmed that he isn’t done with 30 Rock as yet.
Disheartened fans, who were not sure if they would stick to the show without Kabletown’s president after the sixth season need to cheer up for Alec isn’t leaving the 22 Emmy nominated show even after the sixth season.
Well, in October 2010, Alec did instill a bit of relief in his fans by declaring that as a pivotal character, he would be there if the show required him to.
At a press tour organized by the Television Critics Association, the entertainment chief for NBC –Bob Greenblatt declared that Alec would reprise his role of Jack Donaghy even after the show’s sixth season.
Well that declaration sounds really good. Bob went on to reveal that they accepted Alec’s deal and now he will be there in the seventh season that has not been scripted as yet.
So I guess neither the GE building, nor 30 Rock’s fans that can’t bear the show without Jack, will miss Alec Baldwin for sure.
