Two and a Half Men star, Ashton Kutcher has perpetually been in news for quite some time and for different reasons.
Recently he was in news for becoming the 500th customer to be travelling in space with the Virgin Galactic space travel project.
And yet again, he is in the news (although never leaving the hot spot), for making again a sky-shot. Well this time in his career.
Well since the time the iconic techie man, indeed the revolutionary, Steve Jobs passed away everyone is anticipating a biopic on his life that will bring to us his struggle and his course to success, in elaboration to inspire us. But along with that anticipation cropped the question, who will become the big shot of the company that is the guru of gadgets, Apple?
Well the question and the moviemakers have found the answer and their cinematic adaptation of the icon himself and that is very much Ashton Kutcher.
Yes! The man who is usually seen adorning the roles of hippie and romantic characters in the movie will now become the face of Apple the man who made the world go ‘I’ with his contributions to the technology.
Adorning the role of the head of Apple, Kutcher will be seen playing Steve Jobs in the indie biopic that has been titled Jobs. The film will spin around the life of Steve Jobs, since his early days when he was just an unruly hippie. The film will follow his life from his old days of being the whimsical rebellious bloke to the ground-breaking innovator.
Helming the biopic is Joshua Michael Stern and the writing and the script has been given a shape by Matt Whiteley. Also the financier and the producer of the film would be Mark Hulme of Five Star Institute. The film is a cinematic version of the bestselling biography of Steve jobs written by Walter Isaacson.
Kutcher hasn’t yet signed the papers and officially accepted the offer but the production of the film is most likely to begin in the month of May when he will be taking a break from Two and a Half Men, for which he will be making a return for another season. |
