What else can the city of Hoboken and its federal officials expect from two of the female leads of the one of the spiciest reality shows on American television?
Let alone allowing them a bit of time to reveal the show’s philanthropic motives behind its proposal to shoot in Hoboken, the federal officials rudely turned away their proposition with reasons that a show as big as Jersey Shore simply couldn’t be merry with.
Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley, the two actresses from the show will be staying in Hoboken for a while, and all 495 Productions wanted was a 24-hour permit to shoot in the city.
And, believe it or not, the Mayor of Frank Sinatra’s home town backed the local Film Commission’s decision, and nodded to their concerns of the shoots’ impact on the safety and quality of life of Hoboken’s residents.
So yeah, both the women were offended, as none could digest the reasons dished out by the Commission. They sincerely believe that they had been denied permission due to the stereo-damage image that the show has been tainted with over the years.
A few days back, the fuming ladies lashed out at the Mayor in anger. Jenni and Nicole accused the Mayor and the state officials of being rude to them, as they didn’t even bother to enquire into the show. It was blunt, as if like” No, You guys are not allowed in Hoboken”
But, now that it’s all over, the ladies have recently clarified that they are not angry anymore with Hoboken officials. All that they wanted was to bring in revenue for the city and help Hoboken out.
Though it’s forgiving time for the ladies, they have made their accusations pretty clear. Both of them stated together that Mayor Dawn Zimmer is going to regret her decision to back the local commission’s decision to deny them 24-hours to shoot in the city.
Will someone regret or are some already regretting?
