Ace actor and the Entourage creator Mark Wahlberg recently commented on the 9/11 attacks on America. He went on to the extent of making some silly remarks during an interview.

And believe me, the remarks he made could have started a whole new round of controversies.

Mark was supposed to board the plane, which eventually hit one of the World Trade Center towers. And, it is because of his good fortune that he took some other flight a week prior to 9/11.  He candidly commented that if he would have been in the flight with his family, the mishap would never have happened in the first place.

He continued that there would have been a lot of bloodshed in the first class cabin. Basically, he would have saved the day like some super human being.

Thankfully, he is a smart man, as he quickly apologized for the remarks. Mark admitted that his remarks were highly irresponsible, but at the same time, unintentional. He apologized profusely to the families of the sufferers, confessing that the answer was rather thoughtless.

The comment was picked up instantly by major newspapers and magazines, and the writers came out with various blogs and articles.

Thomas Burnett, who lost his life in the crash had his widow, Deena Burnett-Bailey, questioning Mark if has a license to fly an airplane.

Well, thank God that he apologized for the comment. We should just move on now, as he was not all that rude and harsh and sarcastic. And I think there’s no point in dragging it now.
