The hot couple of Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are not yet hitched. Though we would have loved to see the Vampire Diaries couple exchanging rings, and then vows, nothing of this sort happened.

And the heart-breaker this time is none other than Nina herself. Now, don’t go thinking that she dumped hot hunk Ian or something. It’s just that getting all flustered up with the continually pouring news of their engagement, Nina came out in the open and dismissed all the hoopla as mere rumor.

Breaking the longstanding silence, the pretty lady made it clear that the two aren’t even near of an engagement, and as a modern time girl, her priorities are clearly set. Talking of her ‘priorities’, Nina’s focus is on her acting career for now. She described herself as a ‘young, career woman’.

Well, kudos to you for putting it all in such a few words. I agree with you when you say that this is not the time for girls to get married and start a brood at 18; there’s definitely much more to life than that.

As for Ian, it may have sounded harsh to him. The two hotties look very much in love, and ironically, Ian may have to wait for another decade or so before he can raise a toast to ladylove Nina.

As for us fans, there’s a silver lining amidst all these dark clouds.

Well girls, Ian and Nina aren’t getting hitched in near future, and thus, there’s a chance for every one of us to try wooing Ian! So I’m signing off right now. Let Nina focus on her career; I would take a few quick tips on wooing men and set straight for foreign shores to woo Ian.
