Yes, the third day of Jaipur Literature festival was studded with the presence of Oprah, a woman who has inspired million of viewers through her show, The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The luminary had a lot to talk about on the occasion. The overwhelming numbers that waited outside to see her, welcomed her with the warmth that India is known for. She stated that her visit to India has been nothing but one of the supreme experiences of her life.
The amicable aura and presence made her feel like she is a part of a video game, as the swelling numbers confused her about which side to look at.
In a radiant Indian, attire she looked beautiful and charming. She also commented on the paradoxical nature of Indian society, which has broadened her perspective even wider than she anticipated.
She went on to delight Indians, as she spoke of the tough time she has spent as a girl child. Being born in the times of apartheid in a poverty stricken family has made her realize the importance of education and how tough it is to be born as a girl child.
She also spoke about her visit to Vrindavan, where she met widows. Apparently, that visit has deeply touched her.
