If Ryan can get the world hooked to a musical reality show, I guess he can do wonders with a horror TV series that grants him comparatively much more flexibility with an almost negligible quotient of unpredictability.

Well, the first season itself was proof of Ryan Murphy’s dexterity when it comes to assuring commercial success, super high viewer ratings, and unending awards.
American Horror Story is through with its first season and has already won the International Press Academy Satellite Award, along with the 18th Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance in a Television Series, bagged by Jessica Lange from its cast. Apart from these, the show has been nominated for the Best Drama Series and Jessica for Best Supporting Actress at the 69th Golden Globe Awards.
So you trust Murphy…don’t you?
Now Murphy has declared that American Horror Story will experience a complete change in the plot and the cast! According to him, each and every season of the show will comprise a different story in a completely different haunted location!
That very season will include the beginning to the end of a story.
So, that’s Murphy for you… His ideas are new and variant, no matter what. I guess a new story every season will work wonders, as it will not be difficult to launch seasons one after the other till Ryan runs short of horror stories.
I mean with just one story, it often becomes difficult to find new directions to it after a few seasons. Elongating a story when it’s already nearing the end, simply to bring out a new season, tends to pull down the show in terms of quality.
Though some of the cast members will continue in the second season, they will be casted in absolutely fresh and different roles.
So, I guess Murphy’s advice to the fans would be not to get attached to ghosts for God’s sake.
