It is official that “Jermaine Paul” is the winner of “The Voice” season 2. The finale took place on May 8. Tuesday night was a memorable one for Jermaine and for his coach Blake Shelton. The show was wrapped up after the announcement, marking the end of yet another fantastic season.

Jermaine was awarded with a grand prize of $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Studios. The 33-year-old winner sang background for Alicia Keys before the show. But now, he is no doubt in the foreground.
Jermaine thanked everybody that supported him from the first day and while saying so he ran through tears.
Juliet Simms, San Francisco’s 26-year-old indie rocker, coached by Cee Lo Green came in second place. The third place was bagged by Tony Lucca, Detroit’s 36-year-old former Musketeer, coached by Adam Levine. Chris Mann, Wichita’s 30-year-old classical singer, mentored by Christina Aguilera took the fourth place.
Blake said that he also learnt from Jermaine when they were on the show. While they were viewed as the odd couple, their style of singing and different personalities helped them in winning the show. Jermaine said that Blake told him to have a good time on stage, rather being extremely serious.
Anyways, at the moment, America has chosen its winner as Jermaine Paul. To see the winner performing on the stage, you can watch The Voice online.
Once raw diamonds, Tony Lucca, Jermaine Paul, Chris Mann and Juliet Simms are now well-equipped to rock their fans with their much improved avatars.

And for judges, each one of the contestant is like the one who deserves to be till the end. But the rules of the game are inevitably needed to be followed.

The Voice ep 9 would declare four more winners from week 2 performances. Two contestants, one each from Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine’s team, would join the other four to compete for the final position.
